ABOUT THE NETWORK
Complex technology, made understandable.
The Unzipped Series is a small, independent group of publications for people who want to follow AI, blockchain and quantum computing without the hype. Each site sticks to its subject, links every claim to where it came from, and says plainly what is still unknown.
The sites
AIUnzippedArtificial intelligence news, plus a catalogue of notable open models with memory estimates and a model finder.BlockchainUnzippedBlockchain and crypto news, plain-English crypto tax guides and a self-custody wallet guide.QuantumUnzippedQuantum computing news and a free, step-by-step learning track.Bitcoin.onlOur sister project: a permanent archive of Satoshi Nakamoto’s emails and forum posts, a sourced Bitcoin timeline and a guide to holding your own bitcoin.
How our briefings are made
- Every briefing starts from a source: a paper, an announcement, a filing or an official post. That source is linked at the top so you can read the original.
- Drafts are written with the help of AI models, working from that source. Some briefings are published automatically and others are edited by hand before they go out.
- We separate what happened from what it means. Where something is uncertain or disputed, the briefing says so.
- Mistakes get fixed. If something is wrong, we correct it rather than quietly rewriting the story.
How the network is funded
The sites are free to read and carry no display ads. Some guides link to products through affiliate programs, such as wallet makers and tax software. Those links are always labelled, and they never change what we cover or how we rank anything.
